Time for the Summer Break

Hello, everyone,

We hope everything is going well for you. As for us, we're getting ready to take a well-deserved break: Médianes will be on summer break next week. Just before we head off to recharge, we'd like to take you on one last tour: a look at what we've built over the past few weeks and what we're preparing for when we return. We'll be back at the end of August for the next issue of this Coulisses newsletter.

Until then, happy reading, and happy holidays to those who are taking time off!

Behind the Scenes

POST OF THE MONTH

Rallying Support for a Tribute Album

Over the past few weeks, we’ve partnered with Reporters Without Borders on a pre-order campaign for a new tribute album, in collaboration with Studio Ghibli. From design to implementation, we created the fundraising page to rally support for a powerful cause: freedom of the press.

Whether it’s pre-order campaigns, crowdfunding, or subscriptions, find out how we can help you bring your next campaign to life on our dedicated page.

Beyond clicks: small local media reinvent measuring impact

TRANSLATION BY OWEN HUCHON — NIEMAN LAB / MÉDIANES

What if clicks are no longer enough? In the United States, small nonprofit media outlets are developing their own impact indicators to measure their real usefulness — even if it means challenging funders' expectations.

Our approach

STUDIO NEWS

Graphic Design as an Editorial Extension

Art direction, web design, print mockups, newsletter and social media branding… Since 2020, we’ve been supporting both emerging and established media outlets with their graphic design, both online and in print.

At Médianes, we firmly believe that design is an essential component in helping an audience understand a publishing project. We support you every step of the way: assessment and objectives, artistic direction, design, recommendations… Discover our approach and what we offer.
