Your website and newsletter—with complete independence
To enable media outlets to publish without relying on major platforms, Socle CMS is a low-cost website and newsletter solution that combines the Ghost CMS with European tools. Available on a subscription basis, Socle CMS takes the technical work off your hands: our team handles hosting, maintenance, security, and updates.

Donation Platform
Your Donations, in Your Hands
Donations to media outlets are on the rise, but the tools for collecting them are often expensive, generic, and out of step with the needs of a newsroom. Socle Dons is an open-source, independent tool for collecting, managing, and securing donations: tax receipts sent automatically, real-time data, and a comprehensive API to build your own donation flow.
Since 2020, we have been working with media outlets that have made donations a cornerstone of their business model, such as StreetPress, Vert, and Disclose. Socle Dons brings together what we’ve learned by working alongside them: strategy, conversion funnels, management, automation, and payment methods.

How does the Socle CMS subscription work?
You sign up for a subscription with Médianes, which handles the hosting, maintenance, security, and updates for your website and newsletter. You focus on your media. We can also assist you solely with the setup.
How much does Socle Dons cost?
There are two options. In direct mode, if you issue your own tax receipts or are not eligible for tax exemption: 1% per donation, excluding payment fees. Via the soutenir.media endowment fund: 5% per donation (minimum €0.35), including payment fees. No hidden subscription fees, no setup fees.
How does a Socle Campagne coaching program work?
We start with your campaign to design a page that reflects who you are. We handle the setup and maintenance of the page throughout the campaign. We recently supported Socialter, Le Cri, Tempura, and Reporters Without Borders through our campaign pages.
