As summer comes to an end
Hello, everyone,
We don't know about you, but our vacations always seem too short. Just like our back-to-school resolutions, which lasted 48 hours. Luckily, the whole team will soon be gathering in Biarritz for a few days of seminar. It'll be a chance for us to think about what's next for Médianes (already our 4th summer), dream up new projects together, and (try to) go surfing.
As the new school year begins, we’re also pleased to welcome three new faces to :Médianes
- Fanny Blanchard, on an apprenticeship contract, as a Marketing and Communications Project Manager;
- Elia Faverie, on an apprenticeship contract as a UI/UX Designer;
- Sixtine Yung, intern, working on matters related to the Programme Médianes, mentorship, and training.
On the agenda this month: we're announcing that applications are now open for the second edition of the Programme Médianes; we're sharing our tips for getting ready for the new school year; and we're providing a handy guide to help you navigate government assistance programs for the press. And in our announcements: new clients, a move, and a new project.
📆 Are you in Arles? So are we! Through August 31, we’re sharing a booth with Pays at the Agir pour le vivant festival—an event dedicated to rethinking our approaches to activism—alongside La Déferlante, Censored, La Disparition, Utile, Îlots, and Reliefs. Will you be in the area? Come join us!
I'm so happy to see you again,
— Marine Doux and Juliette Cahen

Applications for the second edition of the Programme Médianes are now open!
Do you run an independent media outlet that's less than 8 years old? Are you looking to scale up? The Programme Médianes supports you in the economic, marketing, and managerial development of your project. Apply by September 13 for a chance to join the new cohort.
This fall, the Programme Médianes is back! The core of the program remains the same, driven by the same intent: to give you the tools and methods to develop a viable and sound editorial and business model, within a collective framework.
