It's already October!

Hello, everyone,

Live from the Nantes Local News Festival, I had the pleasure yesterday of moderating a panel discussion on editorial newsletters at the local level with Nice-Matin, Marsactu, and Actu.fr. To mark the occasion, the team has put together a series of marketing, tech, and design resources to help you optimize your newsletters.

10 people, including 9 employees, an average age of 26, projects ranging from La Déferlante to POLITICO Europe by way of France Médias Monde, a team based in several cities… to tell you all about Médianes, we’re preparing new content for you. We can’t wait to share it with you.

We're kicking things off by introducing a new ad format in this issue that takes you behind the scenes of our projects.

We’re also considering changing the day this newsletter is sent—from Friday to Thursday—to align with our market watch edition. What do you think? Please feel free to share your feedback by replying to this email.

Enjoy the read!

Today, we’ll discuss the design and technical challenges specific to sending newsletters.

Creating and distributing an effective newsletter is an art that requires careful attention to detail, from deliverability to accessibility.

Christelle Perrin and Baptiste Thevelein are, respectively, the artistic director and the co-founder and project director of Médianes.
